WHAT IS OIL MIST? WHERE TO USE?
As the machining sector evolves, there is an increasing interest in machine tools. High precision is achieved in the production of these machine tools. During the precise production process, the temperature rises, causing the cutting fluid to evaporate. Prolonged exposure to this vapor can lead to emphysema, respiratory failure, and lung cancer. Oilmist, with its high suction power, draws this oil vapor from the cabin and filters it internally, producing breathable air in the environment.
WHY SHOULD I USE OILMIST?
The harms caused by the formation of oil vapor due to the combination of oil and water, or the smoke produced by 100% utilized oil, should be addressed under three main headings. These are:
- Oil vapor can rise towards the ceiling.
- It can settle down towards the floor.
- It can adhere to machinery and equipment.
Although the mentioned points may vary depending on the density level, they can simultaneously adhere.
1- When it adheres to the ceiling, it has a structure that is easily ignitable but difficult to extinguish. Therefore, it increases the risk of fire.
2- When it settles towards the floor, it can make the floor slippery due to the oil layer it contains, leading to workplace accidents.
3- When it adheres to machinery and equipment, it significantly increases the malfunction rates of the machines and the maintenance rates proportional to these malfunction rates, requiring serious effort and lowering production quality.
